Remember 9-11!

This wiki is dedicated to the events that took place on September 11, 2001 and to the people who died due to the cowardly suicide missions carried out by Al Qaeda affiliates.

On September 11, 2001, the United States of America suffered the most heinous crime to ever take place against the American people. Al Qaeda terrorists hijacked four commercial aircraft to be used as guided bombs with their passengers on board. Two slammed into the World Trade Center in New York City, one into the Pentagon in Washington D.C., and another was brought down by its fearless passengers who overtook their hijackers and attempted to land in a Pennsylvania field. Over 3000 innocent people would perish by the end of the day and over the next few weeks due to injury. Following these events, President George W. Bush declared the global War on Terror and promised to fight Al Qaeda anywhere and everywhere it might be.

2008-12-10 [The Slave Queen]: *sigh* is sadness. my boyfriend gets deployed in about a year. fortunately he's not going to Iraq though :) All I have to worry about him doing is not caring about whether or not the ship he's on goes down b/c if he survives then he can wear his earrings again lol

My mother just returned from a two year deployment.. and thankfully it wasn't Iraq, but in 11 short months she will deploy again for a year but this time either to Iraq or Afganistan.. But you are lucky, your boyfriend isn't going to the combat zone unless really needed.

As to the progress in Iraq, it isn't anything if we pull out.. and the next stop is Afganastan.
